Confused ?
Well, this is just a website full of my stuff. As
ever, there are old remnants of things that I was
really interested in, but I’m not any more, and the
startings of vast mountains of stuff that I am
getting obsessively interested in. I’ve tried to
make is easy to navigate, with a nice bouncy menu
up above, and a side bar to your right. I’m always
interested in feedback on the site. It is not
intentionally difficult to use, I managed that
without trying.
There is most stuff on the blogging page, which I try and
add to every week, this has been going for quite
a while now. Basically I just blog on about
whatever is on my mind, which might include my
favourite fonts, what gathering berries tells us
about life, or the future of the internet, but
obviously mainly moaning on about having a COLD.
There is also a page of creative stuff for download, including the
only writing I’ve ever been paid for, a 2000AD
comic script, unpublished fiction and poetry.
The making page has some of my
drawings and furniture. Before you go, check out
my Flickr page.
But who is he ?
Happily he is married with two daughters, more
exciting than it sounds, and works for the
govenment, less exciting than it sounds. He is
easily bored and dabbles in whatever he finds
interesting. Accordingly, he has spent a year in
the field as an archaeologist, worked for a variety
of government departments, and blogs on pretty much
anything. His fervent hope is that his wife will
shortly start earning so much money that he can
spend his whole day messing about unproductively on
internet productivity blog sites.
But how do I support this towering
intellect of the internet ?
Well first off, check out some of the folk I’ve
listed as inspiring as they really
are much smarter than I am. But I’m always
grateful for folk dropping by, so drop me an
email, link to my site, if you understand that
stumpled upon digging stuff, feel free to tweet
my blog. (That is what you young people say
isn’t it.)
Like all show-offs this site thrives on attention,
which admittedly might not be altogether a good
thing.
In the end though, I just hope you find the site
amusing or interesting or thoughtful.
regards Peter Reid
